**About the Role**:**Grade Level (for internal use)**: 08**About the Role**:**The Team**:The North America Client Coverage team is responsible for the sales/licensing of intellectual property of S&P Dow Jones Indices. Additional responsibilities include establishing and building strong relationships with clients, prospecting for new index customers and managing/expanding the commercial footprint of S&P Dow Jones Indices within their prescribed territory. S&P DJI maintains relationships with investment banks, asset managers, ETF issuers, market data consumers and redistributors, insurance companies, proprietary trading firms, exchanges and other key market participants who rely upon our world-renowned indices, research, and commentary. Our North America Inside Sales team have the unique responsibility to spearhead and communicate any updates to sales policy/workflows and manage the Sales Pipelines for the entire North America Client Coverage team and help in facilitating sales deals by working on sales leads, client enquiries, Salesforce processing and strategic projects.
The team works in full partnership with regional sales representatives, sales specialists, key account managers and channel managers to help shape our client experience. In this role, you will be paired with specific members of our Client Coverage Team within the region to provide sales support for all stages of the sales cycle. You will assist our clients by processing sales requests, cancellations, or amendments to existing agreements. You will have close collaboration with Legal, Commercial Data Services, Finance and Client Services teams.
There will also be commercially focused projects/processes for you to deliver in addition to data analysis such as monthly price increases or unlicensed data access review.**Responsibilities and Impact**:This role will be allowing you to build a holistic view of the S&P DJI business, supporting our Client Coverage and Channel Management teams whilst driving performance for the regional Inside Sales team. Partner with our Sales team to respond to and process inquiries via Salesforce for queries on (but not limited to)New licensing and entitlementsClient billing & reportingClient renewals/usage statisticsClient prospectus languageExisting client maintenance & day-to-day user careProcess Sales deals - Sales Orders, Opportunities and Entitlements (Data, IP and Custom), Agreement Drafting & Negotiation with internal and external legal teamsEffectively collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Product Management, Data Product management, Client Services, LegalWork on both sales and strategic based projects that assist with general workflow efficienciesDrive customer satisfaction and adoption within existing accountHold weekly meetings with Sales Representatives to provide them with relevant statistics, KPIs and updates on key regional/global initiatives**What We’re Looking For**:**Basic Required Qualifications**:Fluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field**1+ Years in a Specialty/Discipline**: Client Services, Sales Support, or similar roleExcellent level of proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SalesforceAbility to solve complex problems in a timely and accurate manner for internal and external stakeholdersAbility to maintain a balanced focus between daily duties and larger scale projectsStrong analytical abilities to discover discrepancies, potential improvements in workflows and systems, and new revenue-generating opportunitiesSelf-starter who can deliver quality results without the need for constant supervisionImpacts quality, timeliness of results, and client experience of own team and related teamsDeveloped communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex informationUses judgment based on practice and precedence and accurately defines problems by trying to understand underlying factors/causesDemonstrable analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to balance daily duties and larger scale projects.**Additional Preferred Qualifications**:**1+ Years in Industry**: Financial Services preferredKnowledge of Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft PowerBI or other data visualization tools advantageousAbout S&P Global Dow Jones Indic e sAt S&P Dow Jones Indices, we provide iconic and innovative index solutions backed by unparalleled expertise across the asset-class spectrum.
