We invite you to explore opportunities with Cubic.Job Details:Job Summary:The Human Resources Representative supports department operations by maintaining records, preparing documents, defining reporting needs, writing and running reports, and providing administrative support to all areas of HR. Specific areas of direct assistance include Training and Development, Employee Relations, Compensation and Human Resources Information Systems. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Provides guidance to employees and manager related to HR procedures, policies and general information.- Coordinates HR transaction processing, referring to the appropriate personnel when necessary. Releases confidential personnel data only to authorized personnel.- Ensures accuracy of the HR/Payroll Information Systems by processing new hires and utilizing the Applicant Tracking System for employee onboarding.- Reviews employee status changes in HRIS, including supervisor and job classification changes, leave of absences, terminations, etc.- Runs employee data reports and analyzes data by creating charts and graphs for management review.- Works with HR team and hiring managers to understand unique reporting needs of organization.- Conducts continuous audit of employee data related to new hire and employee salary changes entered by Payroll.- Works with managers on how to initiate change job transactions in HRIS, include salary changes.- Prepares and distributes monthly HR reports on headcount, hires, terminations and transfers.- Administers Education Assistance Program.- Coordinates with HR team across locations to ensure consistency of processes and data.- Composes and types correspondence related to various HR matters. Processes miscellaneous billings for payment.- Maintains employee personnel record in Workday HRIS.- Participates in the planning of employee events.- Maintains Employee Activities Committee account ensuring accounts are balanced and reconciled monthly.- Serves as back-up in administering Employee Service Awards.- Completes additional special projects in accordance with assigned deadlines.Minimum Job Requirements:Four-year college degree in Human Resources or similar. Proficient MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing an HRIS system is preferred. Interest and ability to learn new systems. Must be Bi-Lingual with English as a second language. Ability to protect and handle confidential personnel information. Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under deadlines and shifting priorities. Able to work on the computer for several hours each day. Ability to communicate effectively and discretely with all levels of employees, including executives. Must be detail-oriented and able to perform duties with high degree of accuracy.
