Finance Manager

The Finance Manager for Latin America Manufacturing Operations is a direct report to the Latin America Finance Director with a strong dotted reporting line to the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Finance Director. The position has 7 direct reports and will be responsible for the financial management of 5 manufacturing locations in Mexico, Brazil and the Dominican Republic as well as provide management oversight for the Latin America cost accounting team. In addition, he/she will provide business decision support to the Director of Manufacturing Operations in Latin America who is responsible for these 5 manufacturing locations, and their respective leadership teams.**More specific responsibilities include**:- The manufacturing locations covered by this role include two locations in Monterrey (Mexico), Tecate (Mexico), Dominican Republic, and Jundiai (Brazil)- Key responsibilities include business decision support, guidance and oversight of the plant Finance leads, FP&A processes, financial analysis, and internal controls- FP&A processes including review and analysis of operating results, identification of risks and opportunities, and recommendation of actions to the manufacturing operations leadership team to improve overall operational and financial performance of the individual plants- He/she will have frequent interaction with the BU finance teams to ensure alignment- Ensure meaningful business data is being provided to the ISC leadership team that helps improve decision making and financial performance- Ensure predictability of financial results by driving effective AOP and quarterly forecasting processes- Provide insight on how to optimize inventory levels and review capital investments.- He/she will work with the leadership team to identify, review, select and implement productivity opportunities and programs- Provide leadership, direction, and support in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing proper internal control policies and procedures for the manufacturing locations covered within this scope of responsibility- Work on any special projects as assigned by the ISC Leadership Team or ISC Finance Director- Lead and develop 7 direct reports including performance reviews and career planning to ensure the achievement of ISC and plant goals and objectives, and to help employees achieve their career goals at Rockwell Automation**Key Competencies & Other Skills**:- Proven business partner and expert problem solver; sorts through complex issues and makes sound recommendations- Self-starter who seeks out opportunities for improvement and drives recommendations and solutions to closure- Strategic outlook with the ability to operate as a “change agent”- Willingness to challenge the status quo to enhance productivity, processes, and procedures- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills capable of interacting with staff, peers, and senior leadership- Self-confident and inspires confidence in others- Prior experience in analyzing, forecasting, and planning a P&L- Exposure to finance function activities in an industrial manufacturing environment- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks- An impeccable sense of integrity and business ethics- Cultural sensitivity- Intellectually curious, driving for continued self-development- Personal qualities which include being a result oriented, bright, resourceful, service driven finance professional who can manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment while remaining even tempered**Other Qualifications**:- Education: BBA in Finance or Accounting- Certification / License: MBA or CPA a plus- Minimum of eight years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience is required preferably with an FP&A emphasis- Working knowledge of SAP preferred- A manufacturing finance background preferred
