This role supports the financial integrity of intercompany relationships and contributes to efficient month-end close processes.ACCOUNTS PAYABLE INTERCOMPANY (IC) SPECIALIST**Responsibilities**:- Intercompany AP Operations- Process and post intercompany invoices and journal entries in SAP.- Ensure all intercompany transactions are properly documented, approved, and reconciled.- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in intercompany payables and receivables.- Coordinate with counterparties across entities to ensure timely matching and settlement of balances.- Month-End Close & Reporting- Prepare intercompany accruals and ensure accurate expense recognition.- Reconcile intercompany accounts and support global netting processes.- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and respond to internal/external audit queries.- Compliance & Controls- Ensure adherence to internal control requirements for intercompany transactions.- Support continuous improvement initiatives and automation of AP processes (EDI Processor).- Stakeholder Collaboration- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Accounting) and external affiliates to resolve issues.- Provide timely updates on pending transactions and reconciliation status.**Qualifications**:- Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Intercompany Accounting.- Experience with SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems.- Strong Excel and analytical skills.- Fluent in English 85% (oral, written & comprehension).- Key Competencies:- Attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindsetThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
