Descripción Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts. Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments. Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders. Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment In-depth knowledge of system maintenance Ability to lift and move heavy equipment Familiarity with safety standards and regulations Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports Clean driving record Perfil buscado A successful Field Service Engineer should have: Associate\'s degree in a related technical field, or equivalent on-the-job training. Over five years of field service experience with electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment; experience with integrated equipment controls preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction and building customer loyalty. Willing and able to travel up to 70%, including occasional international trips. Knowledge in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery. Proficient in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics. Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experienced in resolving customer issues and creating value for both customers and the company in a professional manner. Applies technical and logical methodologies effectively to solve problems. Clear written and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Office, web browsers, ERP & CRM systems, TeamViewer, and Google Docs. Ability to prioritize critical tasks and manage workload efficiently. Effectively plans workload, materials, and parts to complete tasks on time and to customer satisfaction.
