Brand Designer

Eager to team up with other creatives, there is no small task to take a brand to the next level.❌ If you don't have a portfolio, if you don't like teamwork.- ️ It's a plus if you already have experience working in a studio specialized in identity/branding design.**What would you do? (responsibilities)**- Define, create and document a visual language as an extension of the brand (illustrations, colors, typography, animations, etc.).- Document and systematize the graphic archive produced by designers, agencies and creatives.- Continually iterate on concepts in an effort to make the brand relevant and relatable to our audience(s).- Execute design and conceptual tasks as assigned with significant attention to detail.- Translate the brand essence into graphic elements.- Assist in the definition of sacred and non-sacred parts of the brand.- Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.- Educate others on design thinking, brand experience, and design-driven storytelling.- Contribute to albo’s consistency standards by setting up brand QA metric, review and approval processes- Familiar with trends and patterns- Advocate for consistent and cohesive design through the company- Assist in the creation of the brief incorporating the information relevant to brand and style guidelines- Work closely with brand leadership in formulation and delivery of identity elements that are in line with brand promises- Collaborate with Content Marketing, and others, to establish a clear and concise brand voice, tone, and personality.- Collaborate with UX Design to create and maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience between Marketing and Product while being compliant with web accessibility, readability and legibility.- Consult and assist in cross-functional teams and projects- Contribute and collaborate with fellow designers from different teams on design concepts and best practices for brand experience- Enable others, non-designers, to create on-brand assets- Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with peers and stakeholders.- Lead cross-discipline collaboration as it relates to brand experience (Sales, Content, Product, etc.).- Stay on top of brand, design, media and conversion best practices.**Who are you? (experience & skills)**- Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across various projects and teams.- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.- Engage in constructive design critiques.- Able to work independently, prioritize accordingly, and iterate quickly.- Strong communication skills without a fear of over communication.- Ability to continuously meet deadlines and execute on projects.- Proven ability to independently conceptualize and think critically about design.- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and similar software for the production of graphics, illustration, editorial and advertising pieces- Familiar with different offline and online color profiles, printing techniques and materials- Experience in editorial, graphic and/or web designCommunication and documentation skills- Detail oriented, well organized, meets deadlines and focused on results- Great verbal and written communication skills to work effectively across departments.- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
