Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer role involves responsibilities for directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design, control of tooling, fixtures and equipment, Multitask; Knowledge on SMT, backend process as well on Automated Robotics solutions.What a typical day looks like:- Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.- Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.- Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and yields.- High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.- Have the capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.- Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.- Knowledge in mechanical assemblies- Notions in process automation.- Advanced English (verbal and written).- Knowledge in SMT (programming, logging), BACKEND, PTH, PCBA, complete assembly process, Pressfit, Depaneling.
