Join us and let us focus together on what’s truly important: making lives better with new ideas and the latest technology around the world.- Why you’ll love working for Siemens- Freedom and a healthy work- life balance- Embrace our flexible work environment with flex hours, telecommuting and digital workspaces.- Solve the world’s most significant problems - Be part of exciting and innovative projects.- Engaging, challenging, and fast evolving, cutting edge technological environment.- Opportunities to advance your career and mentorship programs on a local and global scale.- Contribute to our social responsibility initiatives focused on access to education, access to technology and sustaining communities and make a positive impact on the community.- Participate in our celebrations, social events and offsite business events.- Opportunities to contribute your innovative ideas and get rewards for them- Diversity and inclusivity focused.What will you do?- Analyze product specifications and clarify product requirements and manufacturing aspects with R&D, Engineering, and Product Management.- Plan overall layout of production sequences and processes, including machine and equipment configuration.- Define process and equipment specifications in collaboration with internal engineers and external service providers and suppliers.- Develop detailed cost concepts for processes and equipment, including cost-benefit and risk scenarios, and prepare decision memos for management.- Evaluate and approve suppliers and service providers for hardware and software equipment in cooperation with Siemens Purchasing.- Plan implementation processes for new production sequences in collaboration with local Industrial Engineering teams.- Support testing and approval of pre-series results and coordinate issue resolution with external providers.- Design automation devices and ensure integration into production systems.- Manage relationships with integrator suppliers to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.What you need to succeed?- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.- 3+ years in manufacturing process planning and equipment specification.- Experience in designing automation devices and managing integrator suppliers.- Strong knowledge of production layouts, process optimization, and supplier evaluation.- Experience in cost analysis and risk assessment for manufacturing projects.- SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and industrial standards.- Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.- English - Intermediate.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement
