Responsibilities:The Opportunity
Lead the Supply Chain ISP MCC service delivery for the MCC site supporting LATAM SC Leads locally in all the ISP needs. The role is accountable for leading efficient and effective operations to support the respective Sector in various HQ and Field SC functional capability and transactional areas including the E2E operation of Latam ISP operations.
Once established the processes, this role will ensure compliance with quality, financial control and SLA standards of SC work in Latam Salty and Foods business. In addition, the role will partner with the GBS Ecosystem teams to drive continuous process improvement and optimization of the SC Services, meeting defined and improving service levels and KPIs, including customer satisfaction.
This role is accountable and responsible for the delivery of customer service levels while meeting the inventory and productivity targets of the organization.
Lead the teams in Latam to ensure optimal sourcing plans, master production schedules, manufacturing optimization plans, Material and Distribution Plans to ensure the best service level possible in the organizations.
Lead the Salty and Foods processes to Production Planning since Line scheduler at facilities level until long term plans for 104 weeks, evaluating the optimal resources to meet demand, optimize inventory level and deliver high level of productivities. Ensure the correct end-to-end Foods Planning that will guide all the Operations and Supply Chain execution, making the right decisions considering all the trade-offs related, as service, costs, DII and WOFF.
As a main Point of Contact for the Local Markets, the Master Planner has to be close of Supply Chain Leaders in order to attend urgent requests, unplanned scenarios and business transformation in order to avoid business disruption or service level impacts.
Your ImpactAs Sr Director Supply Planning Latam, your scope would consist of:
- Leading the design, implementing and monitoring indicators of Service Level, Production Efficiency and Productivity and accountable for results. Develop appropriate action and contingency plans to tackle potential issues.
- Create and Lead the agenda in collaboration with the Warehouse and Supply Managers to establish best scenario of production occupation strategies and align the flow of the internal channel operation maximizing the use of times spaces and capacities, with the purpose of minimize saturation and guarantee billing and customer service plans.
- Executive maturity a must to enable collaborative exchange with Manufacturing Managers to establish strategies and parameters to efficiently operate the production lines. The relationship has to be based on maximizing efficiency and productivity while the service level targets and demand plan are fully executed to ensure top-line growth.
- Lead the development and appropriate communication of the long-term (tactical sourcing) production plans to the storage areas, ensuring that these plans contribute to the productivity of manufacturing (load balance productions and down times) and warehouses, seeking to better occupy the production times by matching the stages of maintenance, cleaning and eventual breaks with the production targets.
- Strategic and analytical thinking is critical to Lead in collaboration with master planners to establish objectives, inventory targets at the SKU / MIx center level, as well as performance indicators, supporting inventory planner activities with the fluid operation of warehouses and transport reacts favorably to demand peaks and valleys, guaranteeing Service and minimizing saturations; contributing with it to the achievement of the objectives of Cash flow and Obsoletes.
- Develop tactical sourcing plans to ensure overall inventory optimization strategies focused on enhancing customer fulfillment with less on-hand (reduction of DII) inventory at a minimized cost:
- Review and analyze output to resolve exceptions and manage overrides.
- Identify and execute scenario planning.
- Publish mid-term sourcing plan to downstream functions.
- Manage inputs to Tactical Sourcing model.
