Job ID: 20901**Location**:Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, MXThe Category Manager is actively supporting the Category Management in defining a fitting supplier strategy and takes over responsibility for negotiations with suppliers to achieve best market conditions in the respective area.Your tasks will be including:Supporting the development of material and suppliers’ strategy by conducting market analysis, closely collaborating with cross-functional partners as well as documenting and implementing accordinglyInitiation of the new Supplier Introduction ProcessDefinition of the annual supplier list for the respective material groupsActively influencing the sourcing process during development phase through supplier selection, negotiating prices and commercial conditions and preparing sourcing decision sheetsEnsuring fulfillment of all necessary requirements by negotiating and concluding legally binding contracts with the respective suppliersEnsuring in-time implementation of correct data in the respective IT-systemsResponsible for monthly controlling and correction of local data and target achievement**Job Requirements**:Completed degree in economics, engineering or in a similar field of study.Several years of professional experience in the area of Purchasing or Category Management, resp. sourcing processesSeveral years of experience in the development of strategic approaches and conducting negotiationsVery good knowledge of the MS Office programsBusiness fluent English language skills (written and spoken)Experienced in intercultural, worldwide collaborationsVery good negotiation skillsIndependent, structured and analytical way of working as well as the ability to capture complex information and present it visuallyWillingness to travel**Working Time**: Full Time**Business Unit**: Central Functions**Department**: Purchasing**Your Contact Partner**: Sofía VillalobosVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
