Strategy and Innovation Specialist

TasksThe strategy and innovation specialist is supports alignment with Automotive on innovation strategy, initiatives and projects relevant to the location. He/She helps foster an innovation culture with mechanisms and artifacts that ensure relevance in the location in the long run by negotiating innovation projects for the location. Identifies skills sets for the future technologies, products, services and aligns with management from the different Busines Areas (BAs) to develop their engineers.Identifies, develops and supports measures that create conditions in the region aimed to strengthen a culture in MX to foster innovation.Explores, leads and coordinates the creation, pilot and roll out of initiatives scalable to the global organization, which creates new value propositions from Mexico.Supports relationships and resources to make the innovation happen, create proof of concept, prototypes and all necessary steps to sell a concept and negotiate resources to develop the concepts.Will establish in coordination with the Innovation Manager the relationships with stakeholders to show our innovations and position R&D MX in top of their minds for collaboration and partnership.Able to handle interactions with the country ecosystem (Government, academy, research centers and industry) to initiate innovation projects and activities.Work with the communications team to define strategies to create visibility of our technologies and innovations and position the R&D center in the mind of our engineers and enamore them to improve the stability and engagement.**Qualifications**:**Job Requirements**:The activities in the department support the sustainable implementation of the innovation relevant topics. We expect to foster collaborations with key stakeholders to find new technologies and new business models with mobility customers.The strategic program will pave the way for innovation and other forward-looking topics such as new technologies, trends and new business opportunities.The position described here will be within the R&D MX Innovation team. The position holder must be able to make reasonable recommendations to the top decision-makers, based on targeted and focused analyses and assessments of complex and vague environments. This significant influence on the orientation of the Automotive organization entails a high responsibility of the position holder towards the future of Continental Automotive Technologies.Additionally, he/she will be required to support the innovation strategy for the location as well as to support and execute plans to bring an innovation and technological differentiator to the location and support the analysis and development of the skills of the future aligned with the prototypes being developed so we are able to fully develop new technologies in a timely fashion.University degree (Engineering, Business Administration or Economics)Minimum 3-5 years in different functions and roles, especially in the technology and innovation field.International work experience or background, know-how of strategy & business development.
