Position Summary The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role acts as the primary point of contact between clients, internal technical teams, and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and effective collaboration. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of IT environments, experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires strong organizational skills, proactive risk management, and the capability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced technology‑driven environment. Qualifications IT Project Management Fundamentals: 2-3 years of experience managing end-to-end IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence. Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: 2+ years of practical experience working with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall frameworks, with the ability to adapt methodology based on project requirements. Stakeholder Communication & Management: 2+ years proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and vendors, including status reporting, expectation management, and issue escalation. Technical Understanding of IT Environments: 2+ years solid understanding of IT concepts such as infrastructure, cloud services, networks, software development lifecycles, and system integrations (hands‑on technical execution not required). Risk & Issue Management: 2+ years’ experience identifying project risks, managing dependencies, and implementing mitigation plans to minimize impact on delivery. Scheduling & Resource Management: 2+ years of ability to create and manage project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and adjust plans based on changing priorities or constraints. Project Documentation & Reporting: 2+ years’ experience creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, meeting minutes, and performance reports. Project Management Tools: 2+ years of hands‑on experience using tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp, or MS Project to track progress and manage tasks. Problem Solving & Decision Making: 2+ years of strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make data‑driven decisions in fast‑paced IT environments. Time Management & Prioritization: 2+ years demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and technical requirements. Work closely with engineering, systems, network, and support teams to translate business requirements into technical tasks and milestones. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and dependency tracking using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp). Coordinate technical resources, manage workloads, and ensure appropriate allocation across projects. Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, dependencies, and blockers, and proactively implement mitigation plans. Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and status meetings as applicable (Agile/Scrum or hybrid environments). Ensure IT deliverables meet quality standards, security requirements, and compliance guidelines. Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear communication of expectations and updates. Track and manage change requests, scope adjustments, and impact analysis. Support deployment, release planning, and post‑implementation reviews. Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, timelines, and risk logs. Assist in continuous improvement of IT processes, workflows, and project management best practices. Escalate issues when necessary and support timely resolution to minimize project impact.
