Nowadays we employ a young and growing team of approximately 30 employees and we are looking for an enthusiastic Proposal Engineer to be a part of our growing team to shape the future**More about your position**As a Proposal Engineer you have an important role in the Sales team; you are leading the design and work out of technical solutions for the manufacturing challenges of our customers. You are in close contact with them, discuss their needs and know how to get the right information. You are responsible for translating the requests into functional machine concepts and the technical part of the offer. You are the expert in the operation of a machine, cycle times and project specifications in which any risks, requirements and technical feasibility are included. During the entire process you have a strong eye for quality, budget and safety and you work closely with your colleagues from sales, project management and cost engineering.**Your challenges**- Creating designs (machine concepts) in SolidWorks or in other tools.- Coordinating with technical colleagues and suppliers about the feasibility of the design.- You know how to present these designs in an involved and convincing way to our worldwide customers.- Preparing budgets.- Act as sparring partner of the Sales Engineers.- Supervising and realizing a correct transfer of the sold projects to the operational project team.**What are we looking for?**As a Proposal Engineer you will fulfill an important key position at the front end of the sales process; you and the sales team are working together for this We find it essential that you have a good amount of ownership, communication skills, creative mindset and commercial/technical insight. You know, together with the team, to convince customers of our added value.
