Business Area:- Location: Ciudad Juárez, MX- Country:- Employment type:As part of the newest Operation Plant and Staff member team, you will support a completely new operation in Juarez, product transfers and in supporting developing and supporting the introducing corporate quality system of our medical devices within our product range.**A global job with an impact**In the job as Supplier Quality Engineer, you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. You will experience a very varied working day in a dynamic organization. You will work closely with your colleagues, particularly colleagues in Juarez, Denmark and Asia and in the US.***Responsibilities**:- Reviewing our manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for production.- Researching, sourcing, and assessing the best vendors to supply the necessary materials.- Visiting vendor facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.- Performing regular quality control audits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance with company standards.- Reviewing incoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defects and ensure quality.- Support validation strategies for new vendors.- Create and develop Supplier Quality Agreements with suppliers.- Conducting tests and assessments on products to identify quality issues.- Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.- Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.- Serving as a liaison between our company's management and the vendors to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.- Ensure that nonconforming products have a disposition.- Maintain the corrective and preventive system as well as the Nonconformance system.- Evaluate KPI’s, audits, processes, non-conformities, and other areas to determine if CAPA’s are needed.**Work Environment**:This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.***To succeed in the job, you will need to have as a must the following**:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field- 5+ years of experience working in Quality- Experience on medical device industry- Experience working in manufacturing preferred- Experience performing audits- Must be able to read, write and understand English**How to Apply****About Ambu**:Ambu has been bringing the solutions of the future to life since 1937.
