The Role
The Customer Advocate team plays a pivotal role in shaping a core pillar of Apollo’s GTM motion—Sales Assist.
Customer Advocates are often the first interaction small businesses have with Apollo and we will help them evaluate and select Apollo as their solution of choice. We drive revenue though high velocity small deals coming from the website or in-product chats. Our mission is to provide a world-class customer experience by removing friction from the buying process and enabling our customers with products and insights that will help their businesses succeed.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage website and in-product chats related to customer’s sales inquiries
- Generate ARR through directly closing transactional new business and upsell deals for small businesses evaluating Apollo
- Influence ARR by assisting companies through the self-service evaluation and purchasing process
- Educate customers on Apollo’s product and pricing to maximize sales
- Ask questions to uncover pain and align Apollo’s value as a solution
- Provide a fast and accurate answers to the customer's inquiries
- Provide clean handoffs to Support and AEs when situations require
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in sales (SDR, AE or similar roles)
- Has experience working in a fast-paced environment, while delivering high-quality work and consistently exceeding targets
- Coachable— loves to learn, receive feedback and up-level their skills
- Highly empathic, can read customers and adjust responses to the situation
- Excellent written communication skills
- Working experience with CRM, Support Tools, and Chat Tools
- Experience working in a remote environment, on a schedule, and managing their own time efficiently
