HVAC & Cooling Towers Business Development Manager Location: Monterrey, N.L., Mexico (Hybrid Remote / On-site) Note: This is a hybrid remote/on-site position based at our client's manufacturing facility located in the Industrial Park, Ciénega de Flores, Monterrey. Key Requirement The role requires direct experience in Cooling Towers (cooling tower systems) applied to HVAC and/or industrial cooling environments. Our client, a global leader in industrial cooling and heat transfer solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager, Latin America to accelerate regional growth and strengthen its commercial presence, with a strategic focus on Mexico. This role reports directly to the General Manager in Mexico and works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Regional Leadership teams. KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Experience 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales within Cooling Towers. Established experience working specifically with Cooling Towers systems in commercial or industrial applications Demonstrated success developing new business through industry relationships and expanding market share across Latin America Strong network within the Cooling Towers, HVAC, and industrial cooling sectors, with knowledge of regional customers, channels, and market dynamics Ability to build influence with consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers to drive specifications and project opportunities Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural commercial environments Background in value-based selling, pricing strategy, and strategic account management Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus Technical Skills Strong technical understanding of Cooling Towers systems, HVAC applications, thermal systems, and heat transfer principles Ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer value propositions Skilled in technical presentations, system evaluations, and solution-based discussions Comfortable interpreting engineering data, performance curves, and technical specifications Solid analytical and financial acumen to evaluate market data, pricing, and business performance Proficiency with CRM tools and digital sales platforms for pipeline and opportunity management Core Competencies Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and adaptable in dynamic business environments Strategic thinker with a disciplined, results-oriented mindset Effective communicator across technical and executive audiences Strong relationship builder focused on long-term partnerships Collaborative, culturally aware, and flexible to changing priorities Operates with integrity, accountability, and professionalism KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and execute regional growth strategies across Latin America, achieving revenue and profitability targets Identify, develop, and manage strategic customers, consultants, and channel partners within the Cooling Towers and HVAC markets Support project specifications and commercial opportunities related to Cooling Towers solutions Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide data-driven decisions Develop and deliver technical and commercial presentations, proposals, and business cases Collaborate with Marketing on product launches, tools, and regional campaigns Provide technical and commercial leadership to key accounts and internal stakeholders Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and associations GENERAL INFORMATION Hybrid position based in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico Travel required approximately 25 to 30 percent across Latin America Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives Equal Opportunity Statement Our client is an Equal Opportunity Organization, committed to fostering an inclusive workplace built on trust, respect, and shared success.
