Senior Business Development Leader (Secure Identity for Government) in LATAM A leading international organization operating in the Government Identity sector is seeking a senior Business Development professional to drive the acquisition of high-value public sector projects. This role is for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in winning and delivering complex government programs across LATAM . The Opportunity This role offers a high level of autonomy and visibility, with responsibility for developing and securing strategic Government physical ID initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships and awarded projects. Key Responsibilities Identify, qualify, and secure Government Identity opportunities across target markets Lead business development efforts through the full lifecycle, from early engagement to contract award Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Project Management, R&D, and Marketing Manage relationships with government authorities, system integrators, suppliers, and customers Support bid and project execution with strong project management oversight Drive performance with a clear focus on winning Government ID projects Experience & Expertise Minimum 15+ years' experience in Business Development within Government or public-sector technology, preferably within citizen identity Demonstrated success in winning large-scale government projects Strong understanding of technology-driven solutions and complex project environments Proven capability in opportunity qualification, stakeholder management, and execution Personal Attributes Location says Mexico but the role can be ased anywhere across LATAM Highly autonomous and results-driven Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset Comfortable operating at senior government and executive levels Persistent, credible, and confident in high-stakes environmentsEducation & Languages Bachelor's degree in Engineering required Master's degree in Business preferredSpanish: Fluent English: Fluent Portuguese: An advantageThis a great opportunity to secure a strategic position with direct impact on business growth and gain exposure to large-scale, high-visibility public-sector programs.
