Esko, Brand Solutions is a business unit within Esko, and it helps its customers make the best packaging for billions of consumers. Our product portfolio supports and manages the packaging and print processes for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, pharma, life science, and retail customers.

Esko solutions are used in packaging management (WebCenter), asset management (MediaBeacon), artwork creation and 3D visualization (Studio), structural design (ArtiosCAD), prepress, workflow automation (Automation Engine), quality assurance, sample-making, palletization (CapePack), supply chain collaboration and/or the production of signage and displays.

The Esko family includes solutions from recent acquisitions including Enfocus, with its PDF quality control tools and automation solutions, MediaBeacon, with its digital asset management (DAM) solutions, and BLUE Software, with its SaaS label and artwork management applications.

Join our team as Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily onsite support of our customers.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL be responsible for:

Managing service of AVT products including:

  • Installation, modifications and repair of complex equipment and computerized systems
  • Consult with customers on equipment and train personnel on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Analyze and isolate equipment malfunctions and take corrective action
  • Remote troubleshooting of system and application problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on products
  • Provide timely written communication of required reports/daily logs
  • Over the course of tenure, learn to install and repair all product lines of the AVT brand

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:

  • Ability to travel 85-95% of the time by airplane or vehicle
  • Bachelor Degree in electronics/mechanics/technical field.
  • Application skills to properly train personnel on how to operate the equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of computers-must know all basic parts of a computer and can troubleshoot hardware and software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electronics. Able to understand signals flow, read and understand connection diagrams, measure voltages and signals. Basic components- relays, resistance AC, DC.
  • Mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints
  • Requires the ability to lift 70 plus lbs. and the ability to maneuver over, under and around printing equipment
  • Strong analytical skills, quick learner and expert troubleshooter
