Responsible for the commercial development either in the midstream and the downstream market of MexCom, in coordination with upstream,sales team and support areas, by leading the elaboration of gas commercial offers (from lead until invoicing), and developing, marketing and implementing the services Mexcom offers to its customers
Responsabilities and Job Functions:
- Lead the commercial strategy addressed to develop the midstream market. Focused on create a sustainable business to reduce our carbon emissions and increase our market influence in Mexico and in the border between US/MX
- Lead the Commercial department through a collaborative and supporting environment with the sales personnel when needed,
- Support to the commercial team to address discussions from a technical and specialized perspective to give the customers the level of certainty and satisfaction they request.
- Promote the development of each team member assuring the appropriate training needed to carry out their responsibilities from a accurate and competitive perspective.
- Lead and oversee all the activities related to commercial offers and new customers connections as, interviews, commercial meetings, sales support through client communication, renewal negotiations, deal structuring, tailor made proposals, new contracts management, new customers onboarding, etc.
- Lead the commercial strategy in coordination with upstream and sales department to determine the best commercial´s proposals to keep and grow Mexcom´s customers,
- Lead, promote, implement, and manage all Risk Management Services (such as fixed pricing) for clients, and elaborate the corresponding marketing strategy and objectives.
- Develop and collaborate on the digitalization of the commercial activities (until the contract signature) in order to support portfolio growth
- Elaborate, follow-up and analyse commercial KPIs, elaborate weekly/monthly reports, propose and implement improvements and changes (if necessary) and elaborate feedback of offers and other commercial projects.
- Monitoring of competition and external environment
Education: Engineering, legal, administration, economy or career related to this position
Experience: 10 years of experience in energy supply area (min 3 year in natural gas supply activities)
Technical skills:
- Laws, directives, norms, rules and fundamentals of the natural gas market and products that are being marketed for B2B segment in Mexico
