The Office Assistant assists the Facilities Coordinator in their duties.

They are responsible for coordinating facility activities nationwide in the vein centers including but no limited to general repairs and maintenance, construction, relocation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security/alarm systems, break room equipment, utilities, painting, patching, pest control, janitorial, signage, and furniture/equipment setups.


_ON SITE, TIJUANA, MX._

Duties:

  • Coordinate major and minor issues and repairs with equipment and buildings
  • Monitor a ticket system that receives work orders
  • Oversee remotely contractor/project management
  • Troubleshoot basic repairs with staff onsite
  • Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion
  • Order and replace broken parts or equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace within the centers
  • Obtain bids for contractual work
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in maintenance with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical PLUS
  • Deadline oriented
  • Ability to handle physical workload when needed
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Organizational skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Costumer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid tourist visa
  • Ability to travel one week per month (US location)
  • Reside in Tijuana or Rosarito
