Capacity Rep Operation/Carrier Sales

As a Capacity Rep, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with carrier partners to ensure efficient freight movement.You will negotiate rates, secure transportation capacity, and provide exceptional service to meet customer needs.This role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced logistics environment.Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with carriers to secure transportation capacity.-Negotiate competitive freight rates while ensuring profitability and service quality.-Source and onboard new carriers to expand the carrier network.-Coordinate freight movement and manage shipment tracking from pickup to delivery.-Resolve carrier-related issues such as delays, service failures, or capacity shortages.-Monitor market trends and capacity fluctuations to optimize carrier procurement strategies.-Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other tools for load booking and tracking.-Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and operations, to meet customer requirements.-Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.-Communicates with Carrier Sale Team Lead and Account Managers providing updates regarding any uncovered loads.Qualifications & Skills- 1+ years of experience in carrier sales, logistics, or freight brokerage preferred.-Strong negotiation and communication skills.-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.-Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.-Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.-Knowledge of freight markets, pricing strategies, and industry regulations is a plus.Supervisory Responsibilities - This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $22,****** - $25,****** al mesTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasEscolaridad:- Bachillerato terminado (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
