Are you ready to build something meaningful?-_ Take flight at Birdman_**The Company**: Birdman is the leading plant-based supplements and food company in Mexico.At Birdman we strive to facilitate the transition towards healthier, more sustainable, and cruelty-free food consumption habits through delicious and nutritious plant-based products that customers love.The global plant-based revolution is just starting and we need the best talent to help us deliver on our promise, increase our reach, and maximize our impact on the planet and people's lives.We have been growing at rates higher than 100% YoY for 7 years consecutively and expect that trend to continue by opening more business lines as well as expanding to more than 8 countries in the coming years.-**_Come build the next Mexican Unicorn with US while contributing towards a better World_****The Role**: As our Head of People your main objective will be helping us build and manage an extraordinary high-performance team that is happy working at Birdman ("The Flock" or "La Parvada").As an HR Manager at Birdman you will be leading the entire HR function and will be responsible for day-to-day activities such as Recruitment and HR Operations as well as will lead the Employee Experience, Cultural Management and Employer Brand verticals, which revolve around the generation of a culture of excellence and well-being to attract and retain only the best to help us achieve our mission.**Responsibilities and Activities**- Build and manage a high-performance team that is happy working at Birdman (High Performance, Happy People).- Build and manage a world-class HR function from scratch.- Develop, implement and manage strategies, policies and processes to enable running an HR operation that is aligned with company's objectives as well as local regulations.- Lead the HR Operations function making sure that daily operations run smoothly: hiring, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, comps and compliance.- Lead the Employee Experience function making sure that Birdman is a great place to work where people are taken care of and developed: onboarding, working environment, training and development, onboarding, wellbeing, and integration events.- Lead the Organizational Excellence function making sure that everyone in the team is a high performer and transformational within the project: employee performance monitoring management, training and development, improvement programmes and offboarding.- Promote a culture of excellence and wellbeing (High-performance, Happy People) through people development and mentoring.- Build a great Employer Brand that enables us to attract the best talent to help us achieve our mission.**Requirements**:**Basic Requirements**- Bachelor Degree (Licenciatura) with at least ****** GPA.MBA or HR related postgraduate degree preferred.- Proven work experience as Head of People, HR Director or HR Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in HR.Ideally in a startup environment.With proof of great results and/or extraordinary achievement.- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.- Experience in Recruitment.- Experience running HR Operations: hiring, payroll, employee relationships, performance management, etc...- Experience building and managing culture and excellence.- Experience using HR management tools such as (workday, runa, workable, etc..).- Experience using job posting sites such as Linkedin, OCC y Workable.- Knwoledge of HR metrics and reporting to executives (Time to hire, turnover, employee NPS, etc...).- Knowledge of local (Mexican) labour related regulations and normatives such as LFT and Nom-035.- Intermediate Excel and MS Office knowledge.- High performance/achiever profile.- People oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.**Desired Qualifications**:- MBA or HR related postgraduate degree.- Experience working in a startup environment.- Experience building the HR function: definition of policies and processes as well as system implementations.- Experience managing Employer Brand.- Use of Data tools such as Powerpivot, PowerBi, or Tableau.
