**Who We Are**:When you join Traffic Tech, you join a team that keeps the global economy moving - literally.Traffic Tech is recognized as an industry leader and the logistics partner to many highly recognizable international brands.With offices throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South America, Mexico, and China, the company offers progressive & efficient solutions for moving freight by land, sea, and air.**Your Part in It**:As an Accounting manager, you will specifically focus on financial reporting for the company.You are a strategically-minded, highly motivated person who will be able to provide reliable and timely information and analysis to business leaders to guide them in the decision-making process.**ACCOUNTING MANAGER*******Responsibilities**:- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end files including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, accruals and analysis for the Mexican entity- Support the preparation of detailed monthly variance analysis on expenses- Perform gross profit analysis and resolve inconsistencies and issues in the financial reporting process- Provide guidance and support to the financial analysts in the month-end closing process- Prepare general ledger analysis and reconciliations- Review detailed monthly financial reports- Perform various financial analysis requested by upper management- Assist with the processing and submission of invoices through PO management system- Oversee the VAT compliance and ensure adequate recording in the general ledger- Oversee Mexico Tax compliance on a regular basis and communicate tasks with Director of Global Tax (including corporate tax, Transfer pricing study and various other tax compliance)- Oversee the financial systems to ensure that financial information is maintained in an accurate and timely manner- Participate in financial and external audits- Maintain relationships and communicate with external accountants, consultants and auditors- Assist with annual forecasting and budgeting- Answer ad hoc requests from management- Support operations and sales staff for ad hoc requests*****What We Are Looking For**:- Degree in Accounting, Taxes, Business, Finance; Postgraduate studies in taxes will be a plus;- Minimum 5 years of experience in a general accounting role, experience in Logistic will be a plus.- Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen;- Ability to think strategically and strong skills to drive business initiatives end to end and deliver insights;- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, evolving environment;- Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment;- Ability to exercise sound judgment in interpreting the Company's policies and objectives;- Solid proficiency in MS office (specifically Microsoft Excel)- English proficiency.*****What We Offer**:- Robust industry with training and mentorship- Dynamic environment and 'can-do' culture- This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday._This role requires proficiency in English because of the duties to be performed.As a leader in 3PL worldwide supply chain logistics, Traffic Tech has an unmatched global reach.With trusted partners in over 25 countries today, Traffic Tech requires English-speaking applicants to serve its international clientele.Traffic Tech is committed to fostering a healthy and accessible work environment.Although the above job description may address the male pronoun, Traffic Tech is inclusive and respectful to all male, female and non-binary applicants.Traffic Tech is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.We take affirmative action to ensure we provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital status, family status, mental or physical disability, or any other legally protected characteristics.
