Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the world's manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile.With more than 28,000 employees who make the world better every day, we know we have something special.Behind our customers - amazing companies that help feed the world, provide life-saving medicine on a global scale, and focus on clean water and green mobility - our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better.We welcome all makers, forward thinkers, and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work.And if that's you we would love to have you join us**Job Description**:The Senior Payroll Specialist is a professional responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll functions within an organization.The primary focus of this payroll specialist will be ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.**Responsibilities**:- Process and review payroll information for accuracy and completeness.- Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of employee salaries.- Handle all aspects of payroll, including deductions, bonuses, overtime, and other special payments.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.- Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports and filings.- Maintain accurate records of employee payroll data.- Prepare and maintain payroll reports for management.- Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.- Work with other departments to ensure accurate employee information.- Utilize payroll software and systems to process payroll efficiently.- Recommend and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems.- Communicate payroll-related information to employees.- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless processes.Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.- Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.- Proficient in using payroll software and systems.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Analytical ability- Experience with Colombian payroll- Managed a payroll of more than 300 employees.- Experience in auditing- Experience with payroll vendor- Excel skillsDesired qualifications:- Proficiency in written and spoken English.- Able to train new hires.- Good process/project management knowledge- Ability to holistically think about processes and programs; anticipate impact of changes to end users.- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on schedule and to the specified requirements.- WorkdayLI-AP2LI- Hybrid
