The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients. The role is responsible for closing commercial opportunities aligned with operational impact, ensuring that every implementation delivers tangible results in efficiency, traceability, and process automation. The mission of the Sales Engineer is to act as the strategic bridge between technology and the customer’s operations, gaining a deep understanding of their processes, identifying inefficiencies, and demonstrating how AspaTech automation solutions can transform operations through data, realiomanip visibility, and control. This role involves analyzing customer operations to uncover manual tasks, inefficiencies, and process pain points, and based on these findings, designing and proposing tailored technology solutions. The Sales Engineer will map customer process flows to understand the current state and technical requirements, guide customers toward an ideal future‑state operation enabled by technology, identify gaps, and recommend concrete solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and accessible language for diverse audiences. A mindset of active listening and genuine interest in understanding customer challenges is critical to success. Success in this role also includes the identification of improvement opportunities, measured by the number of inefficient processes detected that lead to formal proposals. The Sales Engineer will prepare and deliver technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilot projects in a compelling and effective manner. A passion for continuous learning and technological innovation is essential. Performance in this role will be evaluated through key performance indicators that balance commercial results with the quality of the consultative sales process.
