**JOB DESCRIPTION**

This direct sales position will be focused on the acquisition of new establishments for the acceptance of American Express cards as a form of payment corresponding to the portfolio of top prospects segmented by region and according to the profile and strategy of the company.

The Executive will be responsible for affiliating and promoting new merchants for Amex in order to expand the commercial network in Mexico, according to the needs of the issuers.

Results-based negotiation, collaboration and working skills will be critical to success; an adaptive leadership approach will be crucial in this role.

This opening will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition goals, including sourcing and signing of "key regional accounts" prospects, new reserved cargo volume, transfer, new location in place, activation rate and coverage of specific areas.

Sign industry-specific prospects such as: restaurants, healthcare, gas stations, lodging, and education based on card issuers and coverage needs.

Work closely to support your initiatives, business objectives, goals, and challenges.

Manage a portfolio of effective prospects and identify potential business opportunities and develop personalized value propositions.

Ensure a correct implementation of new merchants and the correct transition to Customer Management.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2 Years in team management
- 2 Years Of Top Performance In Sales (Consultative Sales and Relationship Management)
- Experience in Product and Services
- Strong Skills To Collaborate And Influence Others
- _Hands On_ and Innovating
- Strong Sales Background (“Sales Hunter", 100% Results Oriented)
- High Level Face To Face Negotiations Skills Is a Must (At All Levels Of The organization from senior management to operational levels) Including Legal Negotiations.
- Create a strong business relationship with merchants for the particular portfolio, by providing personal attention and aggressively sell Amex Value Story.
- Strong Sales Oriented and Aggressive Personality in order to close high level negotiations on a short term.
- Consultancy to Our Customers Must Be Provided In Order To Build Long Term Relationships
- Strong skills to collaborate and influence others
- Strong new Business acquisition skills
- Capability to work under pressure
- Supreme ethical standards to handle sensitive information
- Completed or truncated Bachelo´rs degree in Business, Economics, Industrial, Engineering and Finance,
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
