**Job Description**:
This position can be based in Mexico City or Monterrey

SUMMARY:
Responsible for sales leadership, profitable growth, development and expansion of the OEM customer base. Properly co-ordinate implementation of Rockwell Automation regional and global sales strategies and initiatives.

Management of the relationship with Channels and business partners within the region. Develop, coach and monitor personnel within the OEM Sales Team, using the appropriated performance management and development tools to assure employee success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Functional (Sales)
- Achieve and exceed the OEM Team sales goals.
- Analyze and monitors sales results providing direction to the sales force where needed.
- May be individually responsible of the sales for assigned customers and directly develop selected new potential accounts within the region
- Collaborate with channels management to increase market penetration, assure sales coverage and provide appropriated customer orders fulfillment

Business
- Develop and implement business strategies and sales objectives within the geographical area that are consistent with the regional direction.
- Effectively manage resources within annual operating plan and approved expense budgets.
- Maintain awareness of competitive strategies and activities, and market trends as well as their impact on local business for Rockwell Automation.
- Less than 5 direct reports

Leadership
- Ensure adequate reporting and ensure proper utilization and maintenance of the sales and customer relationship management tools (i.e. Flexinet).
- Ensure adequate account planning according to Rockwell Automation standards.
- Drive performance driven culture by setting smart goals, track performance regularly, give open & honest feedback and provide relevant reward & recognition
- Maintain a high level of staff competence, team spirit and well being through continuous evaluation, training and motivation.
- Ensure that all employees understand and adhere to the duties and responsibilities as defined in their respective job descriptions, ISO 9001 quality system documentation and letters of appointment
- Provide guidance and direction to the sales and other support resources under his/her responsibility to ensure that their responsibilities and duties are performed as needed

Interpersonal
- Facilitate and promote sales teaming in the own Sales Team and among other Sales Teams for multi-region named accounts
- Excellent communication to foster an open environment
- Identifies key issues from information gathered
- Demonstrates behavior in accordance with Rockwell Automation values
- Acts with highest integrity in all areas
- Ability to motivate others and him/herself

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior sales experience in a technology-based.
- Proven ability in appropriate Competencies referenced below.
- Proven leadership in delivering sustainable and profitable growth through and/or with others.
- Bachelor degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent. Additional education in business administration is a plus.
- English Advanced
