**Regional Sales Director, North Latin America - LZA**

The position is responsible for the execution of the LZA (Lubrizol Additives) strategy in the territory aiming at delivering sustainable business growth and the financial targets, through direct sales. The responsibilities include supporting and enabling frontline sales and to continuously improving the team’s commercial excellence fundamentals. Successful Sales Director duties include managing talent, relationships with customers/stakeholders and overseeing key growth sales strategy, action plans, and respective execution.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Drives revenue, manages margin, optimizes spending, and ensures continued profitable growth of the LZA business in the territory.
- Leads, manages, and coaches the sales organization - Drives the adoption of the commercial excellence agenda and continuously improves the team’s talent position.
- Leverages value-based fundamentals to enhance customer buying experience.
- Develops and maintains a view of market dynamics in the industry, including ongoing evaluation of opportunities to create new value.
- Influences and gains acceptance of leaders (internal and external) through effective communication, relevant and insightful analyses, and creative thinking.
- Coordinates with regional/global senior management and shared services to ensure execution of business strategy.
- Establishes strong relationships with industry experts and customers, proactively supporting the commercial team in identifying new opportunities and expanding our value proposition and market influence.
- Serves as part of the LATAM and LZ Mexico leadership team, providing input on strategic business issues.
- Embraces Corporate’s priorities related to talent retention & attraction, safety, customer experience, continuous improvement, financial targets.

**Requirements**:

- 10 years of business and people leadership experience working in cross-functional environments.
- 6 years in a role with direct responsibility and accountability for business profitability, with demonstrated ability to evaluate and execute opportunities to improve business results.
- Successful execution of value-selling methodologies, including the articulation of value propositions and respective quantification.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Understands Finance fundamentals and full income statement structure.
- Microsoft office package.

- Experience in adopting CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems as a process to enable more efficient and effective sales.
- Holds specific knowledge or experience in the industry.
- Experience developing pricing and cost models.
- Previous experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager or Sales and Marketing Director.
