Account Representative

As an Account Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing a set of assigned core accounts while also developing new ones. Your primary focus will be on exceeding both individual and team gross profit (GP) goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Employ market research and lead qualification techniques to identify and target high-potential customers, demonstrating the benefits of ASTUTE's value-added services.
- Manage assigned core accounts and develop new ones to exceed individual and team gross profit (GP) goals.
- Qualify opportunities, ensure supplier selection and pricing while monitoring market trends.
- Take ownership of meeting customer delivery commitments and providing an outstanding customer experience.
- Own pricing decisions within your territory, negotiating effectively to optimize sales performance and achieve targets.
- Maintain and monitor metrics, collaborate with the team, and strive to achieve individual GP targets.
**Requirements**:
- Passionate and results-driven attitude.
- Proactive in conducting high-volume outbound calls to generate leads and build a sales pipeline.
- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture relationships, negotiate effectively, and close sales with confidence and the resilience to handle objections.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- High school degree or equivalent.
