The Cash & Trade Proc Sr Grp Mgr is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to support clients in the opening/closing of cash accounts, movement of funds, intra-day funds management and compliance in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team.The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of high volume cash management and transaction services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full management responsibility over a large team of cash and trade operations and transaction services managers in large site or across multiple smaller sites including management of people, budget and planning
- Manage multiple major processes, including Trade and Cash or Payment Processing, operational accounting, reconciliation, proofing, etc.
- Oversee quality reviews, end results, budget, policy formulation and planning and significant contribution to future strategy of Cash and Trade Operations
- Manage client transaction reporting, including new product introductions, statement migrations, branding, legal disclaimers, etc.
- Negotiate internally, often at senior levels (across functions) and with external parties, as needed

**Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of experience in a related role
- Experience in a related role in business, functional and people management
- Trade and Cash operations knowledge in a large operations center
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

The “Ops Support Function Group Mgr” manages multiple teams of senior professionals through other senior managers. The job requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to the role, as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles. In-depth knowledge of the industry and the products or services of direct competitors is also necessary to contribute to the business objectives of the business.

It requires a deep understanding of the strategic direction of the function within the business, combined with a strong conceptual and practical foundation in both the function and the area of expertise. Excellent communication skills are required to influence a wide range of audiences.

Is likely to engage in internal and external negotiations that will have a major impact on the managed area and possibly other related areas and organization. Develop medium and long-term plans and executes functional strategies for a large and complex country, business group that requires coordination and integration between units. It provides insight into strategic decisions that affect family or job function within a region or business. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including managing people, budgeting, and planning. Has the authority to negotiate and make independent decisions on matters or activities that have a critical impact or influence on the revenue of the company, capital, or business operations.

**Responsibilities**:
This role manages manual process payments, fraud prevention with operative users. representation in Regional and Global committees of High-Risk Accounts, reconciliation of millions of daily transactions. Account owner of Mexican Central Bank for SPID and SPEI which process trillion of dollar in a daily basis.

Active member of business and operative enhancements reviews and advisory in Book of work programs regarding payments and receivables ecosystem.

Manages business planning initiatives for a large team through functional managers/senior professionals that support operations in Mexico.

Manager of electronic banking fund transfer, SPEI & SPID, Claims and Citi screening (payment alerts).

Assess and held accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and significant contribution to future strategy of the area(s)

Manages resources including hire, and maintain a diverse and effective workforce

Develops strategic direction of the function to harmonize with overall business goals

Impacts the business by exercising control over sizeable resources / budget, policy formulation and planning

Applies a broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple functional areas and their underlying business guidelines

Demonstrate knowledge of how own function integrates within the overall organization to contribute to achieving business objectives; requires a good working knowledge of the industry

Develop strategies for the achievement and fulfillment of financial goals through the proposal of savings initiatives, which allow optimizing processes and making resources more productive.

Ensure that there is an adequate control environment in cash processing centers, SPEI/SPID areas and administrative offices. Maintain
