- **Strategic Collaborator** - encourage clients to continuously question and re-evaluate options through the decision-making process and ensures the business has the right talent at the right time in the right role.
- **Courageous Influencer** - has the expertise, trust, and credibility to proactively influence the business including all leaders, managers and employees. When appropriate they champion novel approaches and push back when decisions are not in the best interest of IGT. They are courageous and show no fear when making decisions that are the best for IGT.
- **People Process Champion** - has the functional expertise to drive the employee lifecycle and enhance the employee experience by leveraging IGT people processes, programs and policies to identify, hire, develop and retain the best talent.
- **Transformation Catalyst** - co-leads the transformation of IGT with their respective business leader. They help to define the needed change, align the leaders and teams around the change and assess progress and course correct as necessary. They are viewed as the change catalysts on the team. Strive for continuous advancement and aim to align our organization with best industry practices
- **Employee Advocate** - acts as the voice of the employee in all IGT business decisions. They provide the conscience in all business-related decisions to ensure employees are considered in the decision and what the potential consequences and impact to employees post decision might be.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly to the P&T Director LAC, this individual will:

- Partner closely with leaders and employees to establish credibility as a trusted advisor to influence and support key strategic and operational decisions
- Provide proactive and support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the human resources agenda in support of business strategies and initiatives by ensuring we create a fair and inclusive culture that values unity, diversity, and belonging in our people, players, customers, and communities.
- Collaborate closely with our colleagues to understand our longer-term operating model, advise on strategic changes, and understand talent across the organization
- Understand market forces and business strategy, and translate those requirements to talent-related requirements
- Facilitate career management, development, performance, succession planning conversations
- Execute structured relationship management cadence to maintain relationships and communication channels
- Mitigate risk by ensuring appropriate escalation / investigation of performance, conduct and other ER related matters
- Work closely with Managers and employees to promote and increase employee engagement to enable a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth
- Support clients' coverage and identify emerging talent issues before they impact the clients strategy fulfillment
- Leverage employee feedback and/or interviews to maintain or build awareness of covered population, issues and challenges
- Ensure adherence to applicable employment legislation for the different provinces in which we operate.
- Monitor Culture and Drive Change:

- Represent IGT values and implement initiatives and programs to support organizational culture
