FLSmidth is looking for a Mining Sales Engineer.

Knowledge/Sales Experience required: Pumps, Cyclones and Valves.

Location of employee can be negotiated, preferably Hermosillo, Sonora. Other open roles can be Mexico City or Monterrey.

By joining the Pumps, Cyclones and Vavles (PCV) organization within FLSmidth, you are joining an extremely dynamic, exiting, rapidly growing Product Line. You will constantly work closely with the team based in the US where we globally support the PCV installed base and work to increase such installed base. You will get all needed support and training from manager and from peers, where you will be part of a strong team committed to maintain ang grow the installed PCV equipment in Mexico.

**Responsibilities**:

- Constantly visits mine sites and customers assigned to your portfolio
- Is able to develop and maintain relationships with different levels in customers organization, specially operations and maintenance superintendents, metallurgists, planning department, purchasing and operations and maintenance supervisors.
- Is always overlooking existing installed base to identify risks and opportunities to improve, inn operations, mechanical and in supply chain so secure and keep all installed base.
- Identifies needs in existing equipment to propose and sell to customers the FLS solutions
- Is constantly focused in identifying new opportunities to replace competitors Pumps, Cyclones and Valves. Also looking for new installations where there is not currently an installed equipment.
- Works internally within FLS, with Customer Service, Logistics, Purchasing, QC and all involved departments to make sure we deliver to customer world class equipment and services.

What you bring
- Degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- 8+ years of demonstrated successful years in sales and/or technical support the Mining industry.
- Experience in effectively interfacing with clients and gaining credibility; developing and implementing project-specific sales strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a specific requirement in Spanish and English.
- Respect deadlines and works independently to reach them.
- Possess proficient skills within the Microsoft Office environment, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
