The Global Virtual Sales Specialists (GVSS) Strategy, Planning & Operations team focuses on driving growth, improving sales force efficiency, and optimally running the business. We drive strategy, planning, operations, and enablement initiatives in the Global Virtual Sales & Engineering (GVSE) Organization.

**What You'll Do**
Within the SP&O team, you will be a key member of our newly formed Strategy & Insights team. This team is dedicated to empowering our sales team to deliver results through data-driven sales campaigns, insights, and recommendations.
Your key stakeholders will be the sales leaders of the GVSS team.
This role requires engagement with virtual account teams and GVSS specialists, the GVSE Strategy & Planning teams, and other cross-functional organizations.
**Role & Responsibilities include**:
Strategy & Insights: Understand the GVSS strategy, priorities, and go-to-market plans. Own the business intelligence required to support the business.
Data Reporting: build dashboards and reports; sales coverage models, and track business metrics.
Data Insights: forecasting; QBRs; fiscal year planning; going; ad hoc initiatives.
Be proactive and challenge the status quo.
Serve as an internal consultant on the use of data and analytics.
**Who You Are**
5+ years in a related role (finance, marketing, business ops, etc.), strategy & planning experience a plus.

Outstanding skills in translating data and delivering recommendations to Sales Leaders through well-crafted presentations stating trends, patterns, and insights.

U.S. employees have
**access** to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensati
