Account Manager - Technical Training & Professional Services (Mexico) About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic Account Manager to drive growth and manage relationships for our Technical Training and Professional Services business in Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to combine revenue generation with strategic account management, working directly with customers across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments.
In this role, you'll be responsible for 60% revenue generation (new business development, upsells, renewals) and 40% account management (relationship building, customer success, retention). You'll serve as the primary point of contact for direct customers in Mexico, partnering closely with our services delivery and training operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Do
Revenue Generation (60%)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
Drive upsells and cross-sells of technical training and professional services solutions
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets
Conduct discovery calls, needs assessments, and solution presentations
Account Management (40%)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
Ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of training and professional services
Coordinate with internal teams (trainers, operations, delivery) to meet customer needs
Monitor account health and proactively address concerns or opportunities
Facilitate renewals and long-term partnership growth
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (English proficiency is a plus)
Working knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Cisco technologies (certifications not required)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Experience working with services delivery, training, or operations teams
Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
Must be located in or willing to relocate to Mexico City
Nice to Have
Experience in the technical training or professional services industry
Familiarity with cloud technologies and IT infrastructure solutions
Experience managing mixed portfolios (enterprise, mid-market, SMB)
CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
~ Competitive base salary
~5% commission on revenue generated
~1% year-end bonus for achieving 100% of annual target
