Asset Management Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Analyst to join our Global IT Infrastructure & Operations team at PepsiCo. As an Asset Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Global Asset Management Team in managing our IT assets, including network devices, servers, laptops, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver successful yearly budgetary and forecasting processes for asset management.
- Execute the purchase process for assets, ensuring compliance with PepsiCo's procurement policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our IT assets in our systems of record, including ServiceNow, Calero, and Employee Central.
- Collaborate with our principal vendors, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Lenovo, BT, HCL, and Zones, to ensure seamless asset management.
- Provide regular reporting and analytics to drive continuous service improvements and optimize asset utilization.
- Work closely with the Global Procurement, IT Delivery, and IT Operations teams to ensure business continuity and efficient asset management.
- Ensure accurate and timely data on asset lifecycle management, including configuration item (CI) and asset management.
- Manage contracts, services, and licensing for our IT assets, ensuring compliance with PepsiCo's contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our vendors, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality, adhering to PepsiCo's data management standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements, working closely with the team and our managed service providers (MSPs) to streamline workflows and automate processes.
- Develop and communicate scorecards related to asset management, providing insights into asset lifecycle status, process variances, and cost drivers.
- Coordinate with vendors to collect and update end-of-support dates and end-of-life information for our IT assets.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and system updates, working closely with our internal teams and MSPs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for our stockrooms, ensuring up-to-date information in our systems of record.
- Adhere to PepsiCo's values and ways of working, including PEP Positive and waste elimination initiatives.
- Support productivity and efficiency initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and implement process improvements, creating user stories and collaborating with internal teams and MSPs to ensure successful implementation.
- University or college degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, business management, computer science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in ServiceNow, data management, financial management, and IT asset management.
- Strong knowledge of asset management tools, including ServiceNow, Calero, Azure, and SAP.
- ITIL certification is desirable.
- Excellent Excel and Power BI skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work with senior IT and business management teams, providing technical expertise and guidance.
