Make a Difference in Animal Welfare – Become Part of Our Team
As a Senior Analyst, you will support the US Commercial teams by managing end-to-end OPEX and Procure-to-Pay processes, becoming a subject matter expert in Vendor Setup, Purchase Order Management, and Invoice Resolution.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to the 'hub & spoke' model. You will engage in training sessions and workshops to grasp system and workflow expectations, communicate user requirements, implement best practices, and provide constructive feedback on processes and compliance.
Your collaboration with Procurement and Finance will be crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of tasks, positively impacting cash flow and enhancing financial reporting and tracking of OPEX budgets, including ad-hoc support for actualization and reconciliation of expenditures.
This position demands meeting deadlines, exceptional communication, attention to detail, quality work, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Setup and Maintenance: Initiate vendor self-enrollment through SAP Ariba, submit internal requests for new vendors, and manage updates by collaborating with US Commercial Teams and vendors to gather necessary information for accurate account setup.
- Purchase Order Management: Review requests from US Commercial Teams for completeness, enter purchase requisitions in SAP Ariba, and provide updates and tracking to requesters. Facilitate the closure of POs upon completion of invoicing.
- Invoice Resolution: Guide US Commercial Teams and vendors on invoice submission, utilize SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) to verify status, and troubleshoot issues with Procure-to-Pay teams to ensure timely vendor payments.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in related fields.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and SAP Ariba/ERP systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and communicate clearly.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong prioritization skills to manage key tasks and deliverables.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Professional handling of challenging customer interactions.
- Flexibility to assist in various areas as needed.
- Capability to work with both internal and external cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles, including accruals, is advantageous.
- Completion of relevant assessments or simulations may be required.
