Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our hotel's housekeeping department. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and organize work to ensure proper coverage by the housekeeping staff.
  • Supervise and support housekeeping staff in the cleaning and preparation of rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities.
  • Monitor and control expenses within the housekeeping department and participate in the preparation of the annual departmental budget.
  • Develop and implement procedures for managing quality of housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Handle and monitor guest comments, suggestions, and complaints, creating and executing action plans to improve service.
  • Supervise and carry out tasks of preventive sanitary hygiene maintenance.
  • Recruit, interview, and train housekeeping staff members.
  • Provide supervision, feedback, and recognition to housekeeping staff members on their performance and development.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Fluency in local language is a must, and knowledge of English is highly valuable.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.).
