Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead our Sales team in Mexico and Chile. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our business in the LATAM region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Revenue Growth Strategies: Work closely with the Revenue team to develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth across all relevant segments, including consortia, leisure, and MICE.
- Lead and Manage a Sales Team: Manage and lead a small team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to meet their sales targets.
- Provide Market Insights and Intelligence: Utilize your local market knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and provide valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with key teams, including Hotel Operations, Brand, Revenue, Digital, Graphics & PR, to ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive top-line revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage Key Accounts: Manage a portfolio of key accounts, taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities to maximize market share.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Sales Experience: Proven experience in a mid-to-senior sales role within the Mexican market, with a strong understanding of the leisure, MICE, and social sales segments.
- Strong Leadership Skills: A natural leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their sales targets.
- Analytical and Methodical Thinking: Combines analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Spanish: Fluency in both verbal and written English and Spanish is required.
