About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on shaping the food delivery category and the future of Uber Eats in Mexico.

As the Eater and Growth Manager, you'll be key in defining and implementing strategies for eater acquisition, retention, and engagement in a specific region. You'll work closely with the local Territory team and the wider Operations team to ensure alignment and flawless execution of the strategy.

This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic insight, effective execution, and strong interpersonal abilities to thrive in a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Develop and lead a comprehensive roadmap of initiatives aimed at enhancing acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Process Optimization: Scale both new and existing processes to enable the business to operate efficiently and foster growth.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage promotional budgets to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Product Enhancement: Identify and propose new features to enhance the customer experience on Uber Eats. Collaborate with central teams to prioritize and ensure local relevance of new product rollouts.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, both locally and centrally (e.g., Marketing, Community Operations, Policy, Communication, Legal, etc.), to contribute to the long-term growth of the territory while fostering a global network.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business consulting, investment banking, or hyper-growth startups.
  • Analytical Experience: Previous experience solving analytical problems is essential, preferably in business consulting, investment banking, or hyper-growth startups.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical Rigor: Ability to think critically and analyze data effectively.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Experience making decisions based on data, exercising good judgment in ambiguous situations, and effectively communicating within diverse teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is a must. Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
