About the Role

F5 is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our Global Support Centers, you will provide remote technical assistance to our customers and partners, ensuring they receive exceptional support and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for F5 solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
  • Handle multiple active cases, analyzing customer network environments and data to arrive at a solution
  • Exercise excellent judgment to select the best approach and take appropriate action
  • Communicate effectively with customers and partners, providing status updates and resolution plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on F5 products and technologies
  • Collaborate with senior support personnel and management to resolve complex issues
  • Manage multiple routine cases and prioritize based on customer and business needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent related experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional technical support role or equivalent experience, working with relevant technologies
  • Hands-on technical experience with internetworking/data center operations, network protocols, and operating systems
  • Proficient in Windows OS and familiar with network security concepts
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information to customers of varying skill levels
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Public/Private Cloud technologies (Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Google, Rackspace, Oracle)
  • Programming/Scripting experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
