Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer to join our team at EPAM Systems. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Implementation: Collaborate with our team to design and implement network architectures that meet our business needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal network performance.
  • Network Security: Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect our network from cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure our network remains secure, efficient, and effective.
Requirements:
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH, and VPN.
  • Experience with Network Management Tools: Familiarity with network management tools, such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or similar.
  • Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and automation tools, such as Ansible or SaltStack.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
