Technical Support Specialist for Renewable Energy Infrastructure

About the Role

The Technical Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of Radian Generation's technological infrastructure. This position involves providing expert technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies, ensuring a secure and efficient environment.
  • Deliver top-notch support and guidance on all Office 365 features and functionality, including Microsoft Exchange, Teams, and PowerApps.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using Microsoft Entra/Azure AD/Active Directory, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring timely updates and records.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure projects and upgrades, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive user training sessions to enhance end-user proficiency with IT systems and applications.
  • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles for internal reference, promoting knowledge sharing and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with system administration concepts and user administration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing high-quality support services.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, to attract and retain top talent in the industry. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, to ensure our employees' well-being and success.
