As a key member of our compliance team, the Trade Compliance Analyst I will be responsible for ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and internal policies. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining compliance with trade laws and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Temporary Importation processes under the IMMEX Program.
- Oversee Exportation activities in alignment with the IMMEX program.
- Request, evaluate, and authorize USMCA certificates.
- Ensure the rectification of Prisma errors by the 15th of each month.
- Assist in the development and revision of procedures related to Supply Chain Security (SCS) and Customs compliance.
- Initiate and support cost reduction strategies.
- Actively participate in compliance initiatives for OEA and CTPAT, including report generation and training sessions.
- Review and approve the closure of pedimentos.
- Conduct analysis, audits, and evaluations of both internal and external business partners to ensure compliance with global trade standards.
- Support the Compliance Manager with reporting, new projects, and information dissemination to suppliers and brokers.
- Serve as the primary contact for brokers and suppliers regarding Virtual Operations.
- Manage special operations including virtual processes, regimen changes, and regularization of pedimentos.
- Perform revisions in Trade Automation systems.
- Ensure the completion of both physical and digital files for all import and export operations on a monthly basis.
- Guarantee timely payments to suppliers.
