Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise, this role will play a key part in driving complete resolution of complex issues reported by customers on our SaaS products.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide top-notch support and solutions to Oracle customers while serving as an advocate for their needs. As a member of our Support organization, you will be responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex techno-functional problems on SaaS products using high-level techno-functional skills, Oracle products knowledge, problem-solving skills, and customer interaction/service expertise.
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Establish detailed program/application specifications through discussion with internal and external teams.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all systems and requirements are adequately documented as to their purpose and function.
  • Provide documentation to support the validation of customer's applications.
  • Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines, which may require working in multiple shifts to interact with offshore and onsite teams.
  • Take direct ownership of all problems/tasks and work with others to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with technical leads and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
  • Meet regularly with Project Managers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Deliver tested and validated applications that meet specifications with highly predictable results.
  • Participate with all Oracle staff and customer teams throughout the corporation to build a cooperative team environment through frequent communication and interaction.
  • Work with QA environments and facilitate end-to-end testing by examining sample data sets to check output from programs/systems.
  • Perform post-delivery and testing audits as part of a proactive QA process.
  • Multitask and manage assignments; coordinate the prioritization of assigned tasks with project leads.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a similar degree program. We can consider candidates in their final semester of the corresponding degree.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Java or Python, PL/SQL Database, Operating Systems, and Information Security.
  • Fundamental knowledge in Cloud Computing, DevOps, Microservices, and Docker.
  • Desirable basic knowledge in Oracle Products: Database or Middleware (WebLogic, SOA, IDM, SOA Suite OAS/OBIEE).
  • Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written skills.
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
Estimated Salary Range

$100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
