Role Overview

Are you an experienced Industrial Engineer looking for a challenging opportunity? Our engineering team is dedicated to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and layout optimization. We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional with a robust background in supply chain management. This position is fully on-site and offers the chance to engage in designing, implementing, and enhancing engineering systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Continuous Improvement initiatives at the facility level, including conducting work studies to analyze work systems, developing standards, and optimizing existing processes.
  • Evaluate ergonomic factors in work systems and propose solutions to minimize repetitive motion injuries while accommodating the functional range of workers.
  • Implement lean engineering methodologies, reviewing work methods and workstation designs, while documenting process methods to enhance labor utilization and material flow.
  • Apply Lean Standards in daily tasks, including Line Balancing, PFEP, Value Stream Mapping, and Engineering Studies.
  • Contribute to the development of Process FMEA's and Control Plans for both existing and potential work systems.
  • Research and recommend capital expenditures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide necessary support for standard work, 5S, TPM, JIT, and Mistake Proofing initiatives.
  • Update facility layouts using AutoCAD LT and maintain Bill of Materials regularly.
  • Assist in new business launches within your area of expertise.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work various shifts as required by business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in applying Industrial Engineering techniques and conducting time studies.
  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, technical procedures, and regulations, with strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Capable of applying advanced mathematical concepts and operations relevant to engineering tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in design, drawing, presentation software, and Microsoft Office.
