Human Resources Lead

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the HR team, you will be accountable for the development and execution of Human Resources strategies tailored to the designated region, ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role serves as a trusted consultant to organizational leaders, focusing on areas such as talent acquisition, labor relations, employee engagement, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to establish strategic initiatives and action plans that drive the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Lead and implement HR initiatives and process enhancement projects within the assigned region, ensuring operational excellence and mentoring junior team members.
- Propose and execute strategies to foster a positive and engaged workplace culture.
- Develop operational frameworks to guarantee adherence to HR policies and procedures, aligned with regional labor regulations and corporate standards.
- Provide guidance on employee relations to improve workforce performance and productivity, while identifying and mitigating organizational risks.
- Work in partnership with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to offer local insights on corporate processes.
- Advise leadership and CoEs on compensation and benefits matters to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Identify and advocate for enhancements in HR processes, proposing effective solutions and best practices while challenging existing norms.
- Engage in additional HR projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferably HR-related).
- Proven experience in a Human Resources generalist capacity.
- Experience in a dynamic and complex matrix environment with a high degree of change.
- Ability to influence and challenge at all organizational levels.
- Strong knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, and employee relations.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and coaching abilities.
- Familiarity with WorkDay is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
