Your Mission, Roles, and Responsibilities

The Program Development Leader will interface with the Program Manager, Product Development Team, Mfg Site, and Purchasing to ensure completion of the PMS Work Packages. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the robustness of the exhaust system for vehicle durability, NVH, heat management, emissions control, safety, system installation, shipping, crashworthiness, and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Generating and maintaining the Engineering Bill of Materials, DFMEA, and D.V.P.
  • Managing Customer engineering interface (prototypes, design, testing, and vehicle assembly) and serving as the single point of Faurecia technical communication.
  • Leading the Product Development Team as technical project leader, managing product content to support meeting Program financial targets with respect to product cost.
  • Leading Engineering P.M.S. Work Package and Engineering Functional Milestones.

Your Profile and Competencies to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional (automotive) experience.
  • General automotive knowledge and Tier I or OEM engineering experience.
  • APQP experience.
  • Strong teamwork sense.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Minimum language skills: English.
