Job Summary

The Resource and Staffing Associate will play a key role in ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources on projects across the business segment. This includes working with segment leaders to identify staffing metrics, understanding upcoming demand, and forecasting resource needs. The successful candidate will lead weekly business segment staffing calls, track project kick-off documents, and maintain a resource planner for the business segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staffing: Work with segment leaders to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources on projects across the business segment according to identified staffing metrics.
  • Understand upcoming demand to identify and forecast resource needs for the business segment.
  • Lead weekly business segment staffing calls, track Project kick-off documents, and maintain resource planner for the business segment.
  • Identify profile and skills required for open project roles and match project resource gaps with available staff to assign people to projects.
  • Actively assess and analyze resource workloads, experience, interests, feedback, and availability to effectively staff them on projects.
  • Maintain a roster of all business segment resources deployed and engagements to be able to assess utilization and availability.
  • Manage staffing conflicts amongst all business segments by collaborating with other talent associates to maximize firm profitability.
  • Ensure proper management of business segment team assets (bios, resumes, and skills matrix).
  • Consolidate the business segment weekly staffing updates to ensure they are incorporated in our global weekly reporting.
  • Liaise with global talent operations and delivery excellence to support initiatives and strategic imperatives as needed.
  • Capture and report upon relevant KPIs.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a professional services firm, experience in a talent position, preferably with resource management, excellent interpersonal skills, superior analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, comfort with Microsoft Excel, excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment, superior organizational skills.
