About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support Asana enablement and establish a Project Management Community of Practice (CoP). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building project management templates, creating clear goals, driving key performance indicators (KPIs), and fostering a community that standardizes best practices and promotes knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Asana Enablement
  • Develop and customize Asana workspaces to fit team needs, including creating templates and workflows.
  • Set up Asana's automation features to streamline project management processes.
  • Utilize Asana's reporting tools to track project progress, KPIs, and milestones.
  • Integrate Asana with other tools like Slack, Jira, or Google Workspace to enhance functionality.
  • Provide training sessions and create resources (guides, tutorials) to help teams adopt Asana effectively.
  • Manage the transition to Asana, addressing resistance and ensuring seamless adoption.
Project Management Community of Practice (CoP)
  • Establish and foster a community among project managers to standardize best practices.
  • Create and curate resources such as templates, frameworks, and case studies.
  • Lead workshops, roundtables, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Develop and promote project management standards and methodologies across the organization.
  • Facilitate mentoring programs or peer learning opportunities.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure the CoP remains relevant and valuable.
Project Management Expertise
  • Align projects with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies for project execution.
  • Collaborate across teams to align project goals, timelines, and resources.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, setting up contingency plans as needed.
  • Oversee projects from initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure.
Leadership & Influence
  • Influence stakeholders across the organization to drive Asana enablement and CoP initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure success.
  • Encourage open communication and collaboration among project managers and teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Track performance metrics to ensure project success.
  • Use feedback and analytics to identify areas for improvement in Asana usage and CoP processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies based on data insights.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience with Asana, including advanced features and integrations.
  • Strong background in project management and familiarity with methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience in building and leading communities or groups focused on knowledge sharing.
  • Proficiency with tools like Slack, Trello, Jira, SurveyMonkey, Typeform, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.

Preferred qualifications include experience with community engagement tools like Confluence or internal wikis, familiarity with survey tools for feedback collection, understanding of change management principles, and experience with continuous improvement and scaling initiatives.
