Strategic Workday Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workday Compensation Specialist to join our team at Trimble. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our HRIS systems.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in supporting HRIS systems, with a strong background in technical Workday configuration. You will be responsible for configuring compensation requests, analyzing and troubleshooting HRIS issues, and assisting in the implementation of Workday updates.
Key Responsibilities- Configure compensation requests, including merit and equity annual processes, bonus design and configuration, job profiles, regrades, eligibility rules, validation rules, complex calculated fields, and reporting.
- Analyze and troubleshoot HRIS issues to completion, focusing on continuous improvement and tenant optimization.
- Assist in the effective review, testing, and implementation of Workday updates.
- Provide accurate and timely data for audit documentation requests, ticket requests, and general People Systems inquiries.
- Participate as part of the team responsible for Trimble's Workday support help desk, servicing employee questions, data requests, report requests, access issues, global WD accounts, and supervisory organization maintenance.
- 5+ years of experience supporting HRIS systems and at least 3-4 years of technical Workday experience, ideally with Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking configuration experience, and general tenant enhancement, Workday feature enablement, and ownership of the biannual Workday update process.
- Experience creating complex Workday calculated fields, eligibility, and validation rules.
- Proven experience in thinking outside the box to come up with solutions to solve business problems.
- Experience in supporting a global ticketing system for PX systems.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and perform against tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
This estimate is based on national averages in the United States and may vary depending on factors such as cost of living, industry standards, and company policies.
